The staff here are very helpful, but the management seem to have designed it to be as unwelcoming as possible. When you call, you are greeted by a message making excuses for poor service and telling you not to be abusive. The next part of the message is trying to get rid of you, either to casualty, pharmacy, or Specsavers (yes, really). If and when you get to the surgery, the receptionist is hidden behind a green steel shutter with only about 20cm of glass at the bottom. You can't see her face, you can only hear an eerie voice and see a hand poking underneath the shutter. It's weird. This surgery has changed it's modus operandi many times over the years and just can't seem to get it right, despite being on TV to get specialist help. Again, the receptionists and doctors are good, it's just the operations design which is a problem.

Can’t get through on phone. Haven’t seen a doctor in 2 years. Repeat prescriptions seem to disappear in the ether between surgery and chemist. Poor quality service

I wish I could rate it 0 star. One of the worst GP services to have ever launched. Disgusting waiting times and astonishing call queues of up to number 15 in the queue. Always put on hold to then find out there is no appointments! Staff are rude and do not have the qualities that health professionals require as a minimum. Avoid at all cost and go somewhere where your health and needs is a priority.

Dr Bachelor has always made me feel comfortable and important; I don’t often visit the doctors & on the rare occasion I do I don't expect to be made to feel like a hypochondriac, which has happened in the past. I am always given the time & patience, an opinion is offered backed up with why. Very helpful and very friendly. I agree with previous reviews, every practice is going to be busy!

Personally I like this practice. Any gp surgery has issues with phone lines and busy times. It's a fact now with so many services and people . Almost all surgeries now have same day appointments you need to ring in on the day for or some pre bookable ahead . My family use this surgery and find it far nicer than the one previously we had.

Rubbish excuse for a gp. Apparently, can’t give out Emergancy appointments anymore! There are NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FOR 2 WEEKS and no one will tell me when the next appointment is!!! I’ve made it clear to reception staff that I’m in pain and need to be seen but their only advice is go to A&E (when it’s not a serious enough issue) or wait for a phone call. A phone won’t see my stomach will it. The ‘doctors’ never seem to care about patients, they don’t take patients seriously, and don’t really look in to why things are wrong when we have a medical problem. Their answers are always antibiotics and blood tests. Nothing is ever taken further than that, even when the problem still persists. I’ve gone to this go many times explaining how I feel sick with certain food and drink and now that my stomach is having severe reactions, their solution is “stop eating and drinking whatever it is an you’ll be fine.” As doctors they should know that it needs to be looked in to to see if I’m allergic to anything or have an intolerance. But they don’t care. Time to start looking in to joining a new gp. Think I’ve put up with the treatment for long enough.

Phone queue times are extremely poor. Can waste 20 minutes easily and then can’t get to see a specific doctor. Online is not much better because not all doctors are bookable online.
