  Good thorough clinician who does things properly. Wish I’d met him 10 years ago. I’d still have the teeth that he’s had to replace with quality implants. Those teeth were beyond saving courtesy of listening to a number of other “dentists”. My teeth have improved immeasurably under his care. Highly recommended.

  I visited here with my Ma, and Dr Amit Patel discussed all the treatment options, and I have never found a professional yet very caring individual who thinks best for his patients. I am in debt to Dr Amit Patel, and I cannot thank him enough for his help. His humility speaks volumes of his character as well as his practice.

  I was highly recommended to go Amit Patel for dental implants from my dentist.The minute I walked in the receptionist welcome me and so did the staff. Everything was explained step by step but I did ask questions put me at ease. Procedure was done step by step happily paid as I went along. Offer me pain killers not needed I am so happy with implants 😁 Have been back again big thank you all 👏 Definitely recommend Amit patel .

  I developed issues with my teeth during the pandemic. The issues were pretty advanced given the backlog at my local dentist. I was eventually referred to Amit for specialist care. I had the full range of treatment from Amit and his team, from removal of teeth, interim dentures, mouth guard for bruxism, bone graft and an implant. Amit was extremely patient, took the time to discuss the best options which were available and most suitable. The treatment itself, whilst uncomfortable, Amit tried to ensure it was as pain free as possible. He provided excellent aftercare and answered the many questions I had about recovery periods, best treatment options and answered queries on any concerns that I had. Its been a year long journey with Amit and I can honestly say that I'm very happy with the excellent service that he and his team have provided. I was at risk at losing further teeth and with Amit's advice, I am now in good dental health with reduced risk of further losses. He ensured that I was happy with all steps of the process and he was the ultimate perfectionist in ensuring that the colour matched on the implant and that it fitted perfectly. I've regained my confidence now that I am able to talk and smile without hiding my mouth or being ashamed of my teeth, joining work team calls on camera rather than with the camera off! I was a nervous patient, worried about the pain of the treatment and further loss of teeth, Amit provided reassurance, and gave impartial advice on the best course of treatment. I would have no hesitation in returning to see Amit in the future if I require further treatment and would highly recommend.

  Over the last few years I had become increasingly concerned about my receding gums. I researched what could be done, in particular gum grafting. I researched dentists who carry out this treatment and found Amit. The reviews from other patients and an initial consultation gave me confidence to go ahead. Amit explained that he would use tissue from the roof of my mouth to reconstruct new gums to solve the recession on my front 6 teeth. During the procedure, which took around 2 hours, I felt no pain though it was fairly uncomfortable. There was no pain from the roof of my mouth which healed by the time the dressing had dissolved. However, Amit told me not too look at the site for 3 weeks and I could only eat soft foods. There was a fair amount of swelling and bruising and it was difficult to sleep. After the first 3 weeks I almost had to learn to chew again. I slowly gained confidence with eating more foods and with brushing my teeth. After about 8 weeks I was able to smile again. This procedure is not for the faint hearted. The surgery and recovery was a traumatic procedure experience but 3 months on I am starting to think it was worth it. The results are just what I had hoped for. Amit and his staff were professional throughout and were able to allay my concerns. I now have a smile to be proud of. Thank you.

  After losing a very visible tooth due to a large infection brought on by a childhood accident, I lost a lot of confidence found myself upset at the thought of going out in public and was becoming quite withdrawn, even with a fitted denture to hide the gap. On discussing options with my dentist, after much thought an implant was most appealing to me based on the lack of trauma to surrounding teeth and natural feel. Despite money worries and what appeared to be a lengthy process with lots of treatment (I had a huge fear needles), I decided this was the root I was going down. I was then completely knocked back on hearing from my dentist, it could take months to be referred. My partner (seeing how down I was) decided to call the surgery direct and I was seen for an assessment the following day. I couldn't believe it! On initial assessment Dr Amit Patel found due to the infection, there was a lot of bone missing and I may need bone graft, but decided waiting to see what bone grew back on its own would be the best option. When I returned I was delighted to hear enough bone had grown back and we could begin the implant process. I was excited and terrified at the same time but all the staff really helped put me at ease. Their confident, to the point attitude always made me feel in good hands and proved to me they knew what they were doing. Part way through treatment I started to get some swelling. Straight away I thought my body had rejected the implant and I was back to square one. I went back expecting to hear the implant had failed and we would have to start the process again. This was not the case Dr Amit Patel thoroughly cleaned the area and I was given antibiotics as a precaution and IT WORKED! At my next appointment a few weeks later I was all healed and ready for my tooth to be fitted. A year later now and I forget I've even lost a tooth, my implant feels and looks so natural. Not only has Dr Amit Patel advised me how to clean and care for my implant, but helped with in depth advice on my overall dental hygiene in a hope to prevent the need for other treatment. I was offered an interest free payment plan to cover costs and feel my treatment was worth every penny. I'm also a lot more confident going to other dental appointments now knowing my dental routine is far more effective.

  I was very impressed with Amit Patel and his attention to detail when providing a permanent dental bridge for me. Nothing is too much trouble and he explains everything he is doing and is only happy when you are. All the staff are friendly and I can highly recommend Amit Patel at the BDS.   My wife Tracy was so fed up with her gum disease despite regularly and religiously cleaning and brushing her teeth. Regular dentists had said she would lose quite a few of them. Can not recommend Amit any more highly; he replaced 2 with implants and saved the other teeth getting rid of the disease. Excellent personality and service. Strongly recommend.
