HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE, I FELT WORSE AFTERWARDS. * Sonya (the assistant) is terrible. I had to chase for multiple responses on scheduling, confirming appointment and receipt of payment - they make you pay in full in advance * Dr Bashir was dismissive and I felt continually unheard * I was questioned about things that I wouldn't lie about, and I then left out vital info due to feeling shamed * I spoke to him about an eating disorder, he told me "everyone put weight on in lockdown" he then ATE on the zoom video call * After the appointment I still didn't have an outcome and have since been signed off by my GP * I chased for the letter Dr Bashir's office were writing and once received there were multiple spelling mistakes It's an expensive waste of money (£380). I've sent a complaint and asked for my money back as I've had to see another Psychiatrist. I'm now being ignored by Dr Bashir. If you have depression and trauma, I can highly recommend a different Psychiatrist who is EXCELLENT. Good luck!

Excellent psychiatrist, doesn't rush to make a diagnosis but takes as long as it needs to be certain. My daughter was a complex case and it was reassuring to know he wasn't going to see her once and make a diagnosis. He also managed to get her to stay for the fairly lengthy first meeting which is very remarkeable as this was one of my concerns. He put her at ease and went at her pace. While you may find a cheaper psychiaitrst i doubt you will find a better one and he is in my opinion worth every penny. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him.

The best Psychiatrist I have met. Very knowledgable and provides a safe comfortable environment to have a consultation. Aftercare was amazing I was followed up regularly and Dr Bashir went beyond what any doctor has ever done. I would trust this Dr to help with any mental distress and am confident he can provide a clear effective plan.
