I've been a patient here for over 50 years. It has grown too big, maybe taken on too many patients, and has lost its front of house care and compassion. Had to wait 3.5 weeks to even speak to a doctor, and not my regular one at that. This is for a patient whose brain tumour has caused lasting cognitive, anxiety and emotional issues, which I need help with from time to time.

If it wasn't for the doctors here I would be dead and if I had stayed with my last doctors I would be dead but I won't go into that doctors except to say that I wasted 6 months with wrong diagnosis and treatment I just knew something wasn't right anyway I changed my doctors to this surgery and straight away by me telling the doctor my symptoms he sent me for xrays which in turn amounted to having CT Scan within a matter of weeks the results confirming that I had lung cancer within 2 months I had an operation to remove tumour then had chemotherapy all this within the time of 6 months. Remember I had just spent 6 months at old doctors and nothing was done except that they thought I had frozen shoulder and gave me an injection and I might add the doctor couldn't get the needle in so doctor asked nurse to do it nurse told doctor she was putting needle in wrong part of my body and had to tell and show doctor the right way what a joke that's one of reasons I left. Anyway these doctors saved my life that was 2017 unfortunately my cancer has come back and again it was by me coming to see these doctors again and not my oncologist that after stating my symptoms which differentiated from the first time I had cancer these wonderful and caring doctors got me to the hospital again. I now have stage 3 lung cancer I've had chemotherapy and 30 sessions of radiotherapy and it is now 2020 so from 2017 to 2020 I am alive and have just been told by my oncologist that he will see me every 3 months i still have cancer but it's under control. I would just like people to know that my journey from a doctors that didn't have a clue to these professional caring doctors and front of house staff ie receptionists etc that I am alive today because of them thank you very much from Steve Duell I will be eternally grateful to you all you have given me hope and more time to spend with my family and I will recommend this surgery and the doctors to everyone and anybody reading this my review you will not regret anything if you wish to become a patient here.
