Absolutely disgusting, I was due a very important delivery today, a helmet for a course which I was due on tomorrow got it next day delivery because it was important, was told would be delivered 16:30 - 17:30. Couldn't order it earlier as course came up last minute. Was in before this time waiting for it to come, gets an email sorry we missed you, you didn't miss me you just didn't show up at all. So this has caused me financial problems now as I was booked onto a non refundable career course totaling £850, now I have spoken to DPD and they said I am unable to collect at the depot, the delivery won't be with me until tomorrow now and can't guarantee it will be before 10:30 am but my course was due to start at 09:30 meaning I stand to lose alot of money and they said there's nothing that can be done and they won't cover any loses, they even admit that the driver 'elle' didn't upload a photo or even input the address they just marked it as missed, so basically the driver couldn't be arsed to come and I lose £850 and there's no repercussions at all. I find this absolutely disgusting as a service, if I was to cost a customer £850 and lie about doing my job when I actually didn't then I would be losing my job but this doesn't seem to happen to dpd, I asked about putting in a complaint but the lady on the phone told me I can't and it has to be an internal complaint, so essentially they can do what they want, don't have to do their job and can cost customers financial problems and nothing can happen, even if an internal complaint is made I wouldn't even know the outc9me so have lost total faith. Fuming.

Van parked outside the flats took a photo saying no one in, phone them to be told oh he wont be paid and it a internal complaint. no sorry and end the call. Wish company would say we use DPD as then I wont use them.

absolutely terrible, would give 0 stars if i could, im more than confident their drivers walk to doors with their eyes closed, given directions to driver 4 days in a row and she finally finds my house and doesn’t leave it in the safe place as asked, absolutely useless

Shame you can't give 0 stars as tried to get a delivery today it Failed as no one able to sign for it!! I had it sent to my work a transport company that's manned 24/7 will not be using them again but let's see if they can deliver it tomorrow 👎👎👎

Incompetent beyond belief! I can’t for the life of me understand how this company is still running! I dreaded when I ordered something online and DPD are the only courier service they use. Never have they delivered on time or date for that matter or your parcel get “lost in transit”.another words politely taken by an employee! If possible stay way clear of DPD utterly useless👎

So had issues with DPD, 9th December getting notifications saying what time my delivery was arriving, then told 'sorry delayed will arrive on Sunday 11th, not even attempted same message came through saying now be the 12th, didn't arrive until 13th. Seriously need to reduce the amount of drops you expect drivers to get round in a day they are only human especially with the increased amounts during the busy periods!! Communication is key quick email/phone call to be honest about why the delay is all customers need.

Simply awful. Royal Mail strike engendered backlogs only partly to blame. I've waited 10 days whilst they have my items in depot. When they have come out they've been split up. Scheduled deliveries don't turn up. Customer services hang up when eventually contacted. The app doesn't work. The drivers are uncontactable and lie about non existent floods. Other than that everything's fine.

Why are these delivery companies not regulated? Hardly ever get parcels delivered to me by DPD, even the lost ones, but now I know why they are cheap.
