Friendly staff, really know their trade, good prices! Update April 2023. A colleague of mine had a blowout due to a pothole. They came out and replaced the tyre using their mobile fitting van. As usual, the price for doing this was far lower than any of their rivals. Thank you Downton Tyres!

These guys are brilliant. I have been using them for many years for new tyres as well as exhaust and suspension problems. They have always been friendly, professional and willing to do whatever they can to get my car back on the road quickly. This morning I turned up unannounced with a broken front suspension spring and yet despite already being busy they managed to acquire the necessary bits and fit them so I had my car back by the end of the day. Incredible service.

I really can't express my thanks to the team at Downton Tyre enough. We were en route to the Isle of Wight when we captured a horrendous puncture in the road. A very sharp rock hit our tyre at the ecact right (or wrong) angle and punctured our Bridgestone tyres like a spear. I called up Downton and the team there were fantastic. I brought my car in about 15 min later and they took a look, showed me the damage to the tyre and unfortunately it wasn't something that could be fixed. Our tyres are also all season XL tyres, so not commenly stocked. Immediately the team were calling around trying to find somewhere where they could source the tyre we needed to be able to get back on the road ASAP. This was Saturday, and by some miracle they found a garage where they could collect and fit the tyre for me. The Team gave me the price which was fair and expected for the Tyre sourced and the team said they could get it in about 45 minutes, in time to fit it before they closed. I agreed and without a min delay, 45 min later the tyre was fitted. The whole team was fanatastic and really looked after us. Upon reading other reviews I can see that they look after everyone. What a fantastic team. Thank you! I couldn't recommend this team more!
