    Just returned from a fantastic Easter stay . 3 families in one superbly kitted out cottage. We wanted peace and quiet and beautiful walks and we got it all. The kids loved the go karts and feeding the pigs. Will definitely be returning!!

    I honestly can't fault this wonderful farm at all! I went to Downlands Farm with a large group for friends to celebrate my long resisted 30th birthday. Venetia the host is so accommodating, down to earth and friendly, she really made our stays that much more special. Each cottage is beautiful and so homely and entering the warmth on arrival made us feel cosy and relaxed straight away 😊 I have no doubts that I will return here at some point. Thank you so much Venetia and her family for a lovely time!

    Recently spent a week here with my extended family, following my son’s wedding. Perfect set up for us, we had 2 adjoining cottages, both exceptionally well equipped & comfortable, loads of outside space for kids (& adults!), couldn’t have been better. Venetia is an excellent host with a great team of cleaners who keep the cottages spotless.

    We were attending a wedding locally and stayed in Rose, Stable and Edwards Cottages. All three cottages were immaculately kept. The kitchen facilities in particular were fantastic. They cottages were all very clean and well maintained. The rooms are light and bright, and beautifully furnished. The hosts Venetia and David were very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately due to covid lockdowns we were unable to stay on the dates originally planned, and the hosts were very sympathetic to our having to reschedule our stay. We have no hesitation in revisting Downlands Farm, and hope to book another stay so that we can explore the area more.

    Absolutely stunning place to stay. It's very quiet, the scenary is beautiful, the owners are lovely and the cottages are something else! I rented out 3 of the cottages with a group of friends, it was the best weekend away I've had. I would definitely stay here again and plan to do so! The cottages are well fitted and large. Couldn't recommend it more.
