We were one of the first families to tour with Stephen, if not the first. He was a gracious host and shared his immense knowledge of historical and current Dover with us. He accommodated our wishes, offered options, and laughed at our jokes. He also took our 17 year olds interests in mind and made a specific effort to point out or describe what our son might find interesting. He quickly determined our likes and dislikes and made sure we took in all the sites we wanted to see. The local pub he suggested for lunch was delicious. You won’t be disappointed. My friends and I had an absolutely amazing day with Steve yesterday. Picked up in Canterbury, and ended in Folkestone 8 hours later. Stops in Sandwich, Deal, Walmer Castle and Dover. And so many things in between! This is such a beautiful area and Steve has so much knowledge of it and love for it that he is the perfect guide. We honestly could spend days seeing everything there is, as long as Steve would be our guide. He is friendly and funny and so good at what he does. There was no rushing about, we had plenty of time to take everything in, take lots of photos and just enjoy. This was by far the best tour I have been on in the UK in the 35 years I’ve been coming here.
