A life saving enterprise, the therapy they organised for me has taught me so much, that I was able to overcome my abused past, learn how to recognise the #RedFlags, enforce my boundaries and recognise abusive, narcissistic people, long before they can get their claws into me. As well as weed out those who were still present, isolate them and go #NoContact once I was safe to do so. These lessons I still implement to this day! Not only did they support me with my mental health and safety issues, they offered necessities for feminine hygiene and essentials, they offered activities in their secure and safe space, it offered me an escape whenever I was in the area to get away from my abusers. Without the support of this charity and their amazing staff, I would never have had the confidence to do what I needed to, to survive and thrive! I cannot recommend DOVE enough, they - along with my few close friends, are the reason I'm still alive and living in safety without fear!
