Cat is a friendly, warm person who built up a lovely connection with our son - and even managed to get him to sleep (while making us our favourite vegetable stew no less!). Cat came and helped us for a month, a few times a week while we adjusted to becoming a family of 5. Her help and company were invaluable to us even if for a short time. Just to know someone was coming for a few hours to relieve some of the pressure was so comforting. She was great at intuitively knowing what needed to be done so that I didn’t have to provide her with a list. Her cheerleading made me feel so good about my decisions and feelings. I feel so lucky to have had her support in those early days, Cat supported me greatly with breastfeeding and is just so knowledgeable in the care for not only your baby, but for you as a new mum too. Cat was a fantastic support to our family before the baby arrived and the entire time she was with us. It was so lovely to have lunch prepared for me, and dinners prepped that I could easily finish later on! She also helped me loads with the sling and being able to get out and about with my baby, as I was a bit anxious about this. Her baby wearing skills are excellent and it was lovely to have a couple of hours to myself when she was with us. A post natal doula is a fantastic investment for any new parent and I can highly recommend Cat.

There’s no one else I’d like to have around me more when I’ve just had my baby than Cat, she’s not only fabulous with babies, but you genuinely feel that she loves you and your baby, and when emotions are high and sleep is low, you just want a safe, caring and loving pair of hands, and that’s exactly what Cat is. She really listens and makes you feel heard, she will make helpful suggestions but never forces her opinion on you, she’s cheerful and easy to be around, and she’s incredibly kind and empathetic. She supported me so much through an incredibly hard time with my rainbow baby, and I’d recommend her to anyone needing that extra help and support in those tough first few months with a newborn.
