While there were a few minor inconveniences for international travelers, the overall experience, comfortable rooms, and breathtaking views made my stay truly memorable. Here's a concise review of my time at DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield. Welcoming Atmosphere and Reception: Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly reception manager, Amin, who handed me the room key and presented me with a freshly baked cookie—a delightful gesture that instantly made me feel welcome. The staff's hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience. Comfortable Rooms and Spectacular Views: The rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield were beautifully appointed, with comfortable and spacious beds that ensured a restful night's sleep. I found all the necessary amenities conveniently available, making my stay hassle-free. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from the window, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop to the stay. Considerations for International Travelers: While DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield provided an excellent experience, there were a couple of considerations for international travelers. Unlike many other Hilton properties, complimentary water bottles were not provided, as tap water in the UK is safe to drink. Very disappointed with my stay. Where to start… ROOM - the heating didn’t work! Maintenance were not in to fix it. Portable heater provided - working but filthy and cracked. Warmed the room eventually, but I couldn’t breathe properly. Panel.curtains were dirty and stained. Hotel says pet friendly, but there wasn’t a pet bed, no water bowls, no treats - nothing. Except a £20 charge. Pet tolerant, isn’t pet friendly. Only permitted in the lobby area. FOOD - sat in the lobby area, ordered pizza and a sharing platter. Poor girl had to tell us there were NO pizzas and they couldn’t provide the sharing platter as described (but they could make one up). Went with that - bad decision. It was disgusting! 3 bowls - garlic mayo, taramasalata and a bowl of hummus (not freshly made). There wasn’t even enough pitta bread to cover the tiny bowl of hummus (supplied with some carrot, cucumber and tomatoes). Also ordered fish and chips - it came and was literally bought in (like the processed stuff from Iceland). Why when there is a MPW restaurant on site? My stay was the worse experience I’ve had in a while. I usually stay with the Inn Collection group, sadly they were not in this location. They really are pet friendly too. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Even the response is inadequate. My name is NOT Jenni Marsh, it’s Jenni MERSH!!

I was a photographer during a charity event held at the hotel. There was a concert there as well. The acoustics was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located within a really nice area. Great place for hosting a big event.
