This is a bit of a weird Hilton as it’s in the stadium. I stayed on a match day so parking was a bit of a nightmare but I’m okay with that as it’s to be expected. It’s more that the hotel is dated and walking around it is a bit clunky, such as the lifts feeling like a staff lift and the walk to breakfast a bit disjointed. My status was recognised on check in where I was upgraded and there was a lovely surprise of treats in my room. Couple this with the friendly reception and breakfast team and this outweighs the random layout and dated feel in the communal areas. I probably wouldn’t stay again as I checked online and there didn’t appear to be a match, yet there was, so I would avoid the future stress! But the team were lovely.
