I really like Dotty Pottery, i have been twice now, there are definitely pros and cons to going, pros being that it’s great fun, it’s a lovely atmosphere and there is lots to choose from, it’s in a lovely location and staff are very friendly also there is a lovely cafe and little shop :) the cons would be that it can be a little pricey depending on what you’d like to paint, and the doggy daycare can give you a headache due to the constant barking, but other than that it’s a lovely place and i will be returning, i have taken many friends and they all loved it!

I do not normally complain but I had a very stressful time with my 3 grandchildren. They had practised what they were going to paint and were superexcited. Firstly the girl in charge explained about the set up way over their heads, secondly most of the paint pots were empty ...both of these I could understand and dismiss but thirdly my grandson got into a loud stropp because he'd made a mistake..me thinking that it couldn't be remedied said he'd just have to change it to something else..he was deeply upset and spoiled the birthday treat for granddaughter with his sadness. On collecting ceramics the same girl in charge said she saw the whole incident and his plate had been salvagable but as I didn't ask for help she didn't offer it. Poor service..I took it to the owners who said sorry can't help as it wasn't a ceramic issue! If only she'd asked if we'd needed help all would have been solved. Poor service on that day by the girl in charge...an expensive and stressful afternoon..not helped by insipid reply by owners.

Had a great time with a group of parents and toddlers, they were very accommodating and can help you with the painting if your not artistic. Reasonably priced for the quality and service provided. Note that you have to come and collect a few days later once they are ready.
