Food quality was okish. Same sauce used for most of dishes. Quantity as compare to price was appalling. There was no diffrence between poppadoms or naans. Service too slow took nearly an hour for food

Utthapam: 5/5 Cauliflower starter: 4/5 Chicken 65: 3/5 (Very small portion size for the price) Overall, 4/5. If you need South Indian and/or Sri Lankan.. this is the place in Bournemouth.

We were looking for an authentic Indian restaurant while on a short break in Bournemouth. With my wife being Bengali, we have eaten many Indian restaurants in London and in India. We were not expecting to taste some of the best Indian food we have ever experienced in Bournemouth, but we did! We visited Dosa World on 2 evenings and tried 6 different dishes. All were beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The chilli fish was superb with a crunchy coating over tender fish covered with a wonderful spicy sauce. The chicken biryani was perfect - fragrant, perfectly cooked rice and tender meat that just fell off the bone. The lamb kottu roti was absolutley delicious with each mouthful providing a variety of flavours and the lamb idiyappam kotu was a tasty and flavoursome dish too. The staff were cheerful despite the restaurant being busy with diners and take out orders. We will definitely eat there again on our next trip!
