Dorset Windows removed an old plastic roof from our conservatory as well as all the old window frames and door. They replaced the roof with a warm roof (which is tiled and insulated) as well as fitting new windows and a door. From being an unusable space that was either too cold and damp or too hot, the conservatory is now a warm, welcoming room with plenty of ventilation for when the summer comes. From the design process to installation, the staff from Dorset Windows were professional and helpful. The cost was reasonable. The work was done on time, with the minimum of fuss and mess. Got quotes from a few local window companies. Choosing Dorset Windows was easy. They were the only folks who advised us to go for the largest possible window panes to maximise the amount of light that comes through (being an 80s house surrounded by tall trees). It was a big job, replacing every door and window throughout and fixing some snags afterwards. Luckily the installation team were a pleasure to have around and took care getting to the end result. We used Dorset Windows just over a year ago for a number a jobs when we moved into our home, one of which was a window in the conservatory with a hole cut out for a cat flap. They were professional, reasonably priced, and we still remain very happy with all of the work done. Sadly our cat passed away recently, and I contacted them to see if they could put back the original window (which we had kept hold of). This was swiftly arranged and carried out, and much to our amazement, no charge was made. We already would have had no hesitation in using them again, and recommending to family and friends, but this has just further emphasised to us what an excellent and genuinely nice business Dorset Windows is.
