We booking a one night stay, which was supposed to include a two course dinner and breakfast. We went down for dinner, and were told we could choose either a starter and a main, or a main and dessert. We ordered a main and dessert each. At the end we were told we had to pay an extra £24 for the meal, even though the deal we booked clearly said it was included. They claimed that only £20 towards the meal was included in the deal, which given many of the mains on the menu are over £20, never mind the starters and desserts, is clearly not a two course meal. We didn't want to make a fuss so paid up, but sent a complaint afterwards which they have ignored. Other than that, the location is nice, the bed was fine, but the bathroom wasn't in great condition. One of the lights in the shower was hanging out with exposed wires, which seems like an electrical hazard. Our room was noisy at night with music from the bar. Food & drinks: We booked a deal that was supposed to include a two course meal, but they then told us after we ate that it wasn't all included and we had to pay extra, despite the deal we booked clearly saying it was.

Absolutely shocked at the greed of this hotel. We were told our room was ready and was empty but we would have to pay to have the key earlier. (1 hour earlier) we have a wedding all day and won’t be back until late this evening so we won’t even be in the room! The receptionist agreed that it was pure greed but stated “it’s policy” the hotel is full of wedding guests and it’s a disgrace they are pushing for even more money! Do not stay here
