On an absolute manic stag do with the lads and it started with a superb and memorable experience at Doncaster Train Station. This place however was not without its limitations. Signs for platform 9 and 3/4 weren’t clear until a member of staff reminded me that this particular platform was from a popular fiction novel. Nevertheless, we arrived at the correct platform with a large oatmilk double shot additional syrup latte from Starbucks ready to board the LnER train to our largest town London. If Donny Railport is looking for feedback, step between the platform and the train was 1/8 of a foot too wide as I nearly fell down the gap and was close to dropping the five empty bottles of Birra Moretti in my hand. All in all, a quality experience and a very warm and welcome atmosphere at Donny Trainy.

Poor communication and the staff don’t care. Connection over 1 hour late. Fair enough these things happen. But.. The replacement came in to a different platform to the information displayed. This was announced too late and could not also be heard over the noise of a stationary train. Missed the second train due to poor station communication. 3 hours of my day wasted.

Hahahaha. Sure I’ve left a review or two that wasn’t published. A game of control. That’s why this place want. A terrible awful service that seek to control you to the point you don’t show up. They fine you randomly, they have no people skills or patience, the train reliability is the worst in the entire country, the transport staff are obnoxious. Just a disaster of a place: in no way does this deserve to still be open.
