I lost my baby in 2022 and had the worst experience with the hospital. My baby had passed away and for a further 6 months I carried her before the hospital removed her from my scar tissue. It was honestly the worst time in my whole life. 6 months later they called me to tell me they still had my baby in the freezer in Hull hospital I was in complete shock as this was never communicated and as far as I was aware when they removed the baby she was within a tumour so I thought they had already cremated her. This was a massive shock and I tried 8 different funeral places around Hull and Doncaster and nobody would help me. they all explained that because she didn't have a birth and death certificate this meant she couldn't be cremated. I was absolutely devastated until I spoke with MEL who was the most kind and sympathetic person I have ever come across. Even though it was her day off she continued to communicate with me trying her best to see if there was away around the issues. I am utterly touched and deeply thankful to her for being so kind and understanding. I have had the worst week of my life and it continued to get worse but Mel definitely made it easier especially being there for me to talk too. I am utterly grateful and she is a complete asset to this company. Thankyou for restoring my faith in humanity! You are one in a million!

We can not thank Mel an the team enough for going above an beyond to ensure that our mum had a send off fit for a queen. They were professional, caring, supportive an so much more which helped make a hard day externally special to us all. Never once did we feel it was about costing or price it was about mum an us as a family to what we wanted to make it perfect an personal to us. I felt I must write to express my thanks and gratitude for the friendly and helpful staff following my husband's funeral. The staff were kind and considerate during this sad time and made the process smooth and uneventful. They go out of their way to make the day go as good as it can be and even wore navy ties which was my husband's favourite colour. Can't recommend them enough.
