    Do not buy direct from Dometic. Use their dealer network and ensure the dealer has their own stock. Dometic ship from Germany to UK, it takes at least a week. My £800 cooler arrived unprotected and broken. Initial response was refund or wait another week/ten days. I objected so they decided to check their Uk warehouse, four hours later still no idea if they had a replacement because the sales team can’t check stock and the warehouse was apparently ignoring calls/E-mails. In the end I ordered a replacement from a UK stockist, arrived after 24 hours properly packaged. Dometic are set up as a wholesaler and their consumer service is useless. I’m not sure why they offer it.

    Great service, Brought my RC10.4t from an online seller a couple months back. The button was never right since the fridge was recieved. Contacted the seller and within a couple days a dometic technician come back to me with a date to come and fix the button under warranty. Great service!

    The worst service I've ever experienced! My electric cooler is faulty (under warranty) so I've been trying to get it repaired since April 2022. After months of poor communication they finally arranged to collect the unit on 19th July 2022. It's now 26th September and I still can't even get a reply to emails. I've started calling them now but was told 'the technicians aren't in today'... 'maybe they'll be around next week'. Regardless of whether you like the look of their products, DO NOT buy them! An absolute shambles of a company

    Appalling. My fridge leaked toxic ammonia gas. No support whatsoever. After over six months of pestering them I got a ‘response’ - which was full of lies. Have been trying to further the issue for several months now both with UK and Swedish offices - no responses from either!

    Worst customer service I have ever come across. My purchase has broken inside warranty, it’s have been broken now for 4 weeks, dometic sent out an engineer to repair without any spares despite me sending detailed photographs of the issue. Now I have to wait 10 days for parts to arrive when I made it very clear I am away in our camper for 9 months on Sunday. Thanks dometic. Absolutely awful aftercare.
