I used Domestix to repair our Dyson vacuum cleaner. They where professional, friendly and quick. I cannot say that they were defiantly value for money as I didn't look around and check out many other Appliance Repair Specialists, but I would be tempted to use them again if I had to.

Paid £129 for a call-out visit and the engineer completed an investigation and diagnosed my appliance faults. I was told the appliance can be repaired, however, it requires parts. The quoted part was £141, I checked with the manufacturer and the cost of this part is approx. £60-70 max. Whatever, I paid them the £141 for the part to get this sorted asap. It took them two weeks to show up and replace the part. The reason for the delay was a parking issue in the London E2 area according to them. There are multiple `Pay Display` parking bays around the building and 99% of the time there are one or two available bays. Anyway, the engineer left the premises without testing the appliance! When I contacted Go Assist about this, Machaela apologized that the appliance has broken down again… The replacement part did not make any difference to a two-year-old appliance. I requested another visit, I provided info about the nearest `Pay Display` parking to ensure the engineer will be able to park. After further two cancellations (another two weeks), I decided to park my car and hold the parking for the engineer, after 3 hours of waiting (during a 4-hour window) I called the company to double-check if they are still going to make it, then the visit got cancelled, another day wasted! After this, I decided to cancel everything with this company and requested a full refund. A week later (5 weeks without a working refrigerator), the engineer came to remove the part and informed us the appliance is not repairable! The amount of £141 was refunded, I had to buy a new appliance, I wasted over 5 weeks of my time and I lost £129 + parking charges for this atrocious service! My advice to any new customers is, STAY AWAY, DON`T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Service: Refrigerator repair
