Absolute a no no if I could turn back the clock. Leaks in the fitted radiator thermostats, also plastic pipe under sink. After care response next to zero. When I asked for damage compensation to laminated floor and skirting boards they told me to claim on my house insurance. Bleeding cowboys, do not use Help link. No help at all.

If I could give them 0 stars then I would have! Helplink fitted our central heating system 3 years ago, everything was fine until we had a leak which has ruined floorboards, new ceiling, new fire door and surrounding frame and brickwork. Yes, leaks aren't covered however when the leak is down to the fitter not fitting the pipes deep enough and when we've been walking over the floorboards the pipe has been pushing down onto the bricks causing a hole to appear and subsequently water slowly leaking over time then yes you do cover leaks as it's the lack of competence from fitters. I log the call with Helplink and the lady was helpful but that's where it stopped, I've been passed from pillar to post no-one wants to deal with the issue and in the meantime I'm left with damage and damp wood work. Helplink are appaling please avoid them at all cost and Homeserve as although they own Helplink they are just as useless not wanting to take ownership or help. AVOID AVOID

Contacted them about my boiler not working, about 8 years ago, still waiting for them to get back in touch. Luckily I was still covered by British gas, and they sorted the problem.

Had a combi boiler fitted and I have to say I have never known something breakdown so much. To get hot water you have to have the tap on a dribble or it won't come out hot, and that's from new. We were given a load of rubbish about that's how it works etc etc and awful service. Avoid if you can,

Bought a boiler with a ten year guarantee. It broke down 6 months later and was told that the warranty wasn’t registered. They called to resolve and the repair was done Now 15 months M after the install it has developed a noise the manufacturer is saying it has only been given a one year warranty. Called Helplink and was on hold for 30 minutes. They said they would call the manufacturer to resolve and call me back. No call and now been on hold for 50 minutes so far. Do not use this company. I regret it big time.

The installation of our boiler was rushed, the quality of workmanship is appalling, they don't want to take any responsibility and they have failed in their duty of care, please avoid, they were cheaper than British Gas for a reason!
