    I have shopped here for many months and considered myself a valuable customer. One Friday I came in to buy my usual selection on T-Bone steaks and was given the wrong meat. At the time and in my defence I was pre-occupied and not feeling too good. After cooking the steaks they were indeed to T-Bone Steak but some other form of meat. I went in to make a complaint and was told that it was my fault and that I should have been paying attention. Obviously the idiot who said this to me does not understand the lifetime value of a customer. Assuming I spend on average £30 per month at A & P Doherty Butchers, over 12 months that would be £360 per year, plus all of the people I recommend. Sadly they have lost me as a customer and I will never go back, plus I will make sure all of my friends know of the poor customer service. The management need to understand the lifetime value of their customers and over the years they should count and see how much they have lost in business and referrals Needless to say their loss is another businesses gain
