FAQ

How do you ensure the health and well-being of the pets in your adoption program?

We have a team of experienced veterinarians who thoroughly examine each pet before they are put up for adoption. Additionally, we provide regular checkups and treatments to ensure that all of our pets are healthy and happy. We also provide adopters with information on how to properly care for their new pets and offer support after adoption if any health issues arise.

What is the adoption process?

Our adoption process begins with an application that can be filled out online or in-person at our shelter. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we match potential adopters with pets that fit their lifestyle and preferences. Prospective owners then meet the pet and have a chance to ask any questions before completing the adoption paperwork.

What kind of support and resources do you provide to new pet owners?

We provide a comprehensive adoption pack that includes information on the pet's medical history, feeding and training tips, and other useful resources. We also offer post-adoption support, including access to training classes and behavior consultations.

What is your policy on returning adopted pets?

We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and for that reason, we have a return policy in place. If an adopter is no longer able to care for a pet, we ask that they return the pet to our shelter where we will work to find them a new home.

Can you provide references or testimonials from satisfied adopters?

Yes, we have many happy adopters who have provided testimonials on our website and social media pages. We would be happy to provide references upon request.

In reply to Paul Cotsen, I have been present during the last two weekends and can confirm that staff are overwhelmed with donations and could not take any more, due to lack of storage space. It is deeply unfair for you to assume staff would turn their nose up at the local community’s kindness. This is not the case and it shows not only a lack of knowledge but a lack of respect for the organisation.

I love dogs so I headed for this place. They turned their noses up at the stuff I took in. Mostly good clean men's casual stuff. I think they prefer women's clothes which I can sort of understand as women far outnumber men when it comes to Charity shoppers. I quickly found another much more accepting chazza.

Great spot for thrifting. Store is well set out, with enough space and items are colour coordinated. 1 changing room. Staff were friendly and polite. I found some great quality items and would definitely come again!
