FAQ

What partnerships or collaborations does your company have with government or non-profit organizations?

We collaborate with various government and non-profit organizations to provide animal rescue and adoption services. Some of our notable partnerships include the RSPCA and local councils. Through these partnerships, we are able to provide better care for animals and help them find loving homes.

Do you offer any guarantees or warranties for your services?

Yes, we offer a lifetime behavioral support guarantee for all dogs adopted from us. We also provide a medical support package for the first four weeks after adoption, which covers any health issues that may arise during this time. Our goal is to ensure that every dog adopted from us receives the best possible care and support throughout their life.

How do you ensure the comfort and dignity of pets during their hospice care?

We understand that hospice care can be a difficult time for both pets and their owners. That's why we have a dedicated team of veterinary professionals who provide personalized care for each pet to ensure their comfort and dignity. We also offer support to pet owners during this difficult time, including counseling and bereavement services.

What health testing do you perform on your breeding dogs?

We conduct a range of health tests on our breeding dogs to ensure that they are healthy and free from genetic disorders. These tests include hip and elbow scoring, eye testing, and DNA testing for inherited diseases. Our breeding dogs are also regularly screened for any health issues that may arise.

Will you be walking other dogs alongside mine, and if so, how many and what are their temperaments?

Yes, we offer dog walking services and may walk other dogs alongside yours. The number of dogs we walk at a time varies depending on their temperaments and the preferences of their owners. We always ensure that dogs are matched based on their personalities and that they are walked in a safe and controlled environment. Our dog walkers are also trained to handle any situations that may arise during the walk.

I can't fault the experience I had when I applied to adopt a cracking little dog. I was allowed to spend as much time as I wanted to be able to bond with her & more importantly for her to bond with me. I've not had a single problem with her in the 2wks since she moved in but if I had I knew that help was just a phone call away. Thanks to you all at Basildon Dogs Trust 🐕 🐾

We wanted a small dog, but it means visiting several times to be vetted, and also they coming to us to see our home. As we are retired it makes no sense. So, instead of us relieving them of some cost, they continue to house the dogs. Pity, we shall enquire elsewhere.
