I was on Facebook one day and I found that if I completed a questionnaire I could get a picture of my rescue dog Apollo from Dogs in Focus. I completed this questionnaire and I found out a few days later that I won! I was over the moon and very excited. Dianne got in touch with me to have a photoshoot in the field with Apollo, my husband and I, and we had the best day! Dianne was so considerate, resourceful and she knows a lot about dogs. Apollo is still a puppy and his recall is okay but we preferred to have him on the lead as it was a new place for him. Diane took the lead off on the pictures and he looks amazing in all of them! She managed to capture his cheeky and inquisitive personality . When we had the appointment to check the pictures she brought a treat for Apollo that he really enjoyed, and something sweet for us too! We could not leave with just one picture, we had to take more as we loved them! Thank you Diane for an amazing experience! I hope you can use Apollo's picture in more competitions and that he makes you shine even more! :)

Diane at Dogs in Focus Photography is so lovely to work with. She made sure that my Miniature Schnauzer Florrie was completely happy and relaxed throughout our outdoor session which built a rapport & trust (not always easy with a Miniature Schnauzer!). Every single picture that Diane produced of Florrie is absolutely stunning. She has literally captured Florrie’s soul, her spirit, all of her facial expressions & her zest for life in the great outdoors. I couldn’t have wished for a better photography session, or better pictures of my special girl. I’am in awe of Diane’s talent & creativity. I will absolutely use Dogs in Focus again & hope to in the new year, this time with both of my dogs. Thank you Diane, you’re a star ⭐️

I had two photo sessions with Diane. I was a little bit concerned before our first session, when she told me we were heading to an open field and Gizmo would be off lead. My pup is a rescue and he was only about 8 months old at the time, with a flaky recall. But she ensured me, she had few tricks in her sleeve for dogs like my unruly gremlin. At the end of the day, Diane is a training assistant at a dog training centre and a dog trick trainer, so I knew she knows what she’s talking about. Yes, she did. Gizmo had a great time doing what he does best: running around like a lunatic. He hardly stops for more than 2 seconds, it’s unbelievable how she managed to take such amazing photos of him that, by the way, really show Gizmo’s crazy personality. Diane had no real issue retrieving Gizmo when it was time to go back on lead, even though there were people and other dogs around. Gizmo was even allowed to keep the magic squeaky toy :) On our second session, Gizmo was on the lead all the time, as we were too close to a busy road. Again, Gizmo did not stop for more than 2 seconds, everything was just too exciting for him, and yet, on the pictures you only see a happy puppy posing for the camera, you couldn’t tell that Gizmo was moving constantly. Diane adapted the photo shoot for my dog’s need and personality, he was never forced into situations he was uncomfortable with, for the sake of a good photo opportunity. The whole experience was fun and enjoyable for both dog dog parent. Maybe seeing the end results was my favourite part, I couldn’t believe how well the photos turned out. Gizmo’s happy little face definitely brightens up the living room :) No brainer, I would definitely recommend Diane and Dogs in Focus Photography to anyone who wants to have good quality pictures taken of their dog(s).
