If you have a property that isn't properly fenced, or a dog who is like Houdini and can get through any gap in a fence, then this system is for you. After our dog got out dozens of times and ended up on the road (and often at the local pub) we decided to invest in this system seven years ago and have never looked back. We have now added our seven month old puppy to the system as she started to wander. We leave our front gate open and the dogs never wander past their boundary. It keeps them safe and gives us peace of mind. Once they know their boundary and are trained they never get hurt or shocked by the system as they receive a warning beep if they go to close to the boundary and that is enough to keep them away. It is a fantastic system, the trainer clearly loves dogs and they love him and their customer support is excellent.

The system works well and the dogs have learnt quickly where the safe boundary is. However be WARNED, the installer cut through the electric gates cable causing power loss to the gates and entire house. After contacting DogFence they stated the small print in their terms excludes damage to electric cables and the installers do not wear Xray Glasses.... basically washing their hands with the whole situation. They are clearly happy to leave any property with LIVE wires in the ground!

When our small cross breed was just 5 1/2 months old we installed a banana loop dog fence in our back garden. It did take a bit of time, but with two people helping it was far easier and was incredibly straight forward. I was very apprehensive about training my pup to the fence but it was so easy. She got it in a couple of days literally. (Since then I've realised she isn't the brightest either! bless her) The instructions are so clear. I did exactly as told with keeping her on the lead and walking up to the flags. I've deliberately waited a year to review this product and I can only rave about it. Easy to install. Inexpensive for self installing; certainly less than fence posts and panels etc. Simple to train but most importantly a happy, SAFE dog within the confines of my back garden. I have left the collar off for months without any issue but have now noticed she is venturing to the absolute extremity of the boundary and not within the 18 inches buffer from the actual fence itself, so I'm about to start putting it back on her just to remind her!! She has never run through the fence for any reason and I will update this post if she ever does. If I had one slight issue, it's that the battery for the collar is impossible to source on the high street ( I went to 6 retailers and none have it) so you are either tied to dog fence or can get it on line but not easily without large postage costs or having to order other things.

Fantastic product and first class customer service - including after sales I live on an island in the Thames and was petrified my rescue dog would fall or jump into the river and not be able to get out. The team at Dog Fence fitted a fence which is just a small wire around my plot of land and I now feel 100% confident about my dog's safety. When we recently got a second rescue dog, she also took to the system within 2-3 hours. The correction is not strong - I tried it myself before the dogs! I also bought a side leader from Dog Fence Ltd which I had trouble using (entirely my fault). When I made contact, they came to my home, demonstrated it and did an hour's training with the dogs - free of charge. I have no hesitation in recommending 100% this company and their products - in my view, their customer service is second to none.

Installed for Cats ! Really great company to deal with. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. We had the fence installed for our Siberian Forest cats that were meant to be house cats. I quickly realised that living in such a way was impossible especially once the summer came and we wanted windows and doors open. I was a bit concerned about the fence and how it would work for cats but they learnt it in half a day and we have never had an escape. We had it installed by the company at our first property and have since put it in ourselves into two other properties. It's been life changing.
