Me and my mum have been taking our dogs here and within days our dogs showed improvements. In my mum's spaniel especially. Before he couldn't be in the same room with a friend's child without going berserk with excitement and jumping on her. Within three days of practicing Brian's programme, this was no longer a problem, he now just sits at her side obediently. My own gsd puppy has very much benefited from the socialisation classes and has enjoyed playing with other dogs. Both dogs have become more responsive and I am looking forward to making our visit to Dog Whispers a weekly routine.

Took my parents dog here for the dog socialisation class and my dog was attacked by 4 dogs, 2 of which were the trainers dogs. My dog came home bleeding and I was traumatised. I would not recommend taking any dog here.

I recently contacted this company to enquire about some help with a problem I am having with my cocker spaniel and received what was, in my opinion, the rudest, most unhelpful, dismissive and unprofessional response I have ever experienced in my dealings with anyone. If this is how they treat all the potential customers for their £50 an hour 1-2-1 training, it amazes me they are still in business. I could not in all good conscience recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.

I met Brian 3 years ago when he came to my home to give me advice on my existing dog and new husky/GS cross. There were some bad habits that I didn't want my second dog to copy! I took to him straight away - he really listened and obviously wanted to give me individual help, not the cure-all approach I had experienced from other trainers. We went together to the field where I walked the dogs and after a while he said, 'You haven't got much to worry about - you're nearly there.' I have had dogs all my life and I'm good with them but my confidence had taken a knock and he put me right back on my feet. Since then I have attended the Saturday socialisation class almost every week and hate missing it. Carol, Lisa and Heather work with Brian and are a pleasure to be with, always supportive and friendly. Well done team - you are the best!

I've brought my German Shepard to Brian's classes for the past 3 years and absolutely love it! When I first came, my dog suffered from dog aggression as well as many other things. However, within a couple of lessons, Dog Whispers and the team had solved my issues! They offered lots of advice and tips which all worked very effectively. Even though my dog is no longer nasty, I still attend the classes regularly as it's a great place to be! All the dogs are mixing together and playing happily whilst tiring themselves out meaning a sleepy doggy for the night! Brian, Carol, Lisa and Heather are absolutely great and I especially like the new socialisation classes on a Tuesday evening. Couldn't wish for a better class, by far the best in Yorkshire!

I can't praise The Dog Whispers enough, I love going to the classes with our dog who absolutely loves going. The staff are wonderful, Brian Carol and Lisa are FANTASTIC we have some good laughs as well as being taught how to teach our dogs to be well behaved and friendly ! They are always willing to share their expertise, we have had some fantastic advice from all of them. Brian is always very polite and willing to help us in every way. We have asked Brian to care for our dog while we are away this year and next, until we met Brian we were very reluctant to go away now we are very very assured he is most competent and knows dogs inside out having watched Brian work and care for the dogs at Dog Whispers. We wouldn't choose any other place to take our very precious dog.... Well done to you all,not forgetting Heather. We will be going for the foreseeable future with our happy well behaved dog. :-) Looking forward to going to our next class. Pammy Hall

Skyla, our English Bull Terrier, has been attending the puppy training classes since before Christmas and we all enjoy the experience. We never expected Skyla to be able to do half of what she has achieved in the last few months and cannot praise the training team enough. Brian, Carol and Lisa are very professional, always happy to help with any dog related questions and are readily available to assist one to one if necessary. There are training days for puppies and adults with Tuesday nights for free running only. It is my opinion that we will be faithful to Brian and co even when Skla is effectively trained to our requirements. I cannot praise the training school enough.

Do not deal with this company!! The customer service is horrific!! I enquired about some 1-2-1 training and was greeted by an extremly rude man! I called the number and asked if it was the Dog Whispers he replied 'Its Sunday..... Its Quarter past can you not call back during normal hours!!!' - The website told me there classes early on Sunday so thought this would be quite reasonable. All it would of took is putting the answer phone on! Terrible!
