Nick has been amazing - we have a very complex and challenging (but lovely) 20 month old working cocker - the fifth dog in our married life and we thought we knew what we were doing. However, he was a very different dog to our previous ones and at one point we thought we were at the end of the road as he was so aggressive. We had some horrible bites over a six month period. Nick has not only taught us how to successfully manage this side of Wilf's behaviour but also how to gain respect and trust, which has made a massive difference with his training and general behaviour. In a ten minute walk Nick had Wilf walking to heel and taught us to do it too. This was like a miracle for a dog who pulled relentlessly up until then. We have gone from despairing to feeling really positive about the future. We are extremely grateful to Nick and his calm, knowledgable and gentle approach to our dog and us!

Our gorgeous boy Stanley has struggled with anxiety and possessiveness since a pup which has been stressful at times, and despite being fairly experienced dog owners we were struggling. Nick’s support and advice for managing these has really helped us to help Stanley feel calmer and more relaxed around the house. Nick was professional, and has equipped us with the knowledge and tools enable us to recognise our boys body language and individual needs with a plan particular to ours and Stanley’s needs. We have a 4 year old cocker spaniel who is a timid dog especially around new people and dogs. We asked Nick to help us with this and generally improve her overall behaviour. Nick was extremely helpful, pointing us in the right direction in a number of areas and suggesting areas for improvement we hadn’t considered. We are really pleased with our dog’s improvement, showing significant progress within a few weeks. We still have work to do but we are confident we can make progress and Nick continues to be available for help and advice following his two formal visits. We would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Our 8 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Junior, developed an aversion to loud noises. As you can imagine, Bonfire Night, Christmas and New Year were awful for him. At the suggestion of our Vet, we sought help from Nick and the results have been great. Nick is a professional and also a very nice person. He never attempted to attribute blame or responsibility for the problem and was happy to discuss the issues involved including Junior's history - we are his third home but has been with us for the last 4 years. The improvements in a relatively short time have been dramatic. We would be happy to recommend Nick to anyone who has experienced similar problems.

Had an hour's zoom session thanks to a charity auction that we won. Nick was brilliant and totally had the dogs best interest at heart. Gave us loads of fantastic exercises and ideas to help with our very anxious terrier. He gave us realistic and achievable goals to try and aim for through a number of different exercises inside and outside of the home. Overall a great introduction to dog training with a very friendly, down to earth trainer and confidence building for the dog as well as us. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you again Nick
