We visit the Dog & Pheasant every few months on a friday for their BOGOF burger deal. We usually get 2 Quadzilla "challenge" burgers and stuff our faces for around £14 total! Its obviously not gourmet, but you get a lot of food for that price. Service is fast and the place is kept clean. Last time we visited we were served by one of the new managers called Terry; he was exceptional at his job and it was his level of service that made us decide to leave a review.

Much improved since our last visit, it's under new management. Warm and friendly staff, efficient ordering even with my partner's modifications and food great value for money, especially the deals. Tables cleaned regularly and although in need of a refurb was the cleanest we've seen it! Terry I think that's the managers name, welcomed us and even checked everything was ok with our meals. Brilliant personal service !

Hadn't been to the Dog & Pheasant for many years. On this occasion the food was reasonable and staff were friendly. The building looks really shabby and could do with modernisation. Disabled toilet was very smelly and not particularly clean. It's just had a management change, so hopefully, they will address the issues and make the place a 5 star pub.
