Waited 45 minutes for an appointment, nobody turned up, with no option to cancel or rearrange. As useless as all of the other services AXA outsource to.

Absolutely terrible. I have been waiting for over a week (after their GP reffered me) to be booked for a simple urine test which is ridiculous when you would be able to do this the next day with NHS. I keep chasing them to book these tests for me but there are ignoring me. One of the reasons people choose private is because it’s supposed to be faster than NHS. Not in case of DoctorCareAnywhere. I only use this service because it’s part of my insurance but if you have a choice, find a different private service or do it throught NHS (yes, even NHS is faster and more helpful than them)

A lot of quite underwhelming experiences with this service, my problems weren't resolved and they wasted so much of my time keeping me waiting hours on the phone, having to chase almost every step of the progress.

Have used this a few times, try to use as it is a company perk (well I say a perk) and to avoid using the NHS. You get 15 minutes which they try to cram into about 5 minutes and every time are told you'll be fine in a few days or so. You could have a limb hanging off and they would tell you it would be ok in a few days. It encourages you not to be ill/get injured to save the trauma of experiencing whatever service this is. I now actually opt for the NHS, which shouldn't be the case.

Can’t book an appointment in 2 weeks. What’s even the point?

I wish to make a complaint about the dr care anywhere app and doctor care anywhere experience in general. The app 'freezes' often, typically at the pin log in and then when confirming the appointment booking you are attempting to make. Going out of the app and back in, and re-installing the app does not appear to help this. Today however, the app reduced me to tears of frustration. I was trying to get referred by a GP for a fast-track consultation so was very anxious to speak to someone. Twice I joined the appointment at the correct time and twice I was marked as 'did not attend'. For the following reasons. Firstly, I was asked to grant permissions to camera, microphone, and did so. When I returned and attempted to 'join' the video consultation, though I kept clicking the 'join' button, I was not permitted to enter. The screen read: 'the doctor will join you shortly' but the time went by. The doctor - Natasha Malik - waited precisely three minutes before noting the 'patient did not attend the appointment' and the appointment was rendered 'complete'. If only patients had the luxury of being so dismissive when they are waiting for doctors. The second appointment I was again asked to enable permissions to camera, microphone etc in settings at the very last minute, after I had clicked 'join'. Though I had done this mere hours before, I went back into settings; all permissions were still enabled. I rushed back and entered the app, and tried to join this second appointment. The text read, as before: 'the doctor will join you shortly'. I waited, for about 5/6 minutes. It actually looked as though the app had frozen, as before; it still reads: 'the doctor will join you shortly' but they never did. All the client can assume at this point is that either the doctor is late - or the app isn’t working. I have no idea. I didn't know whether I should phone in and ask what was happening, but if I did that I risked the doctor actually joining the appointment and me missing it. As before, I was soon labeled 'did not attend appointment'. To top it all my phone then told me I had two missed calls from the doctor, though they had not gone through/the phone never rang, so I can only assume it was again because of the app. This I did not book another video call via the app as I knew the same thing would happen and phoned to talk to someone about this. They suggested a phone call instead as I had already uploaded a photo. I only hope this information is correctly relayed, including the fact I have already uploaded a photo (I've just been asked to submit one again, so obviously this part has not been), and the doctor does phone me at the time rather than request a video call. I also hope that this issue - which is dermatalogical - can be adequately assessed by phone and photo, because video function is completely impossible, The stress this has caused today has resulted in a number of other things going wrong in a cascade effect. It has been an utterly frustrating, stressful and distressing experience. And it't not even over yet; I have no idea if my appointment will finally be successful later today. This is so far from acceptable as to be a joke. * Addition: you can't cancel appointments via the app, so you have to phone (the numbers isn't that apparent, but at the bottom of the contact page on their website you will eventually find it) up each time you need to cancel. I would have thought the most basic and necessary feature of an app like Dr Care Anywhere is a 'cancel' appointment function.

Terrible. If you want to feel every worse try using this poorly run service where admin will fail and nothing will work. The fact you pay for this is absurd. Avoid if you can.

Great concept If these doctors actually show up at the appointments. Waste of time.

Every time I call them, they give me some "Google searched" basic advices and recommend me to contact NHS GP. They won't prescribe you antibiotics or anything like that. They would listen, waste your time and tell you " you have to see the gp" . LOL

Everytime I book an appointment with the GP I am unable to connect by video as the system redirect me to another page. When I say that to the GP he try to call me but the telephone calls which were made several times were all of very poor quality. Not to mention when I send an email to the customer service they take three days minimum to reply.
