Cannot fault the service one bit, highly recommend. Although there was a few weeks waiting list which is understandable DMR tried to get me to see my daughter as quickly as possible. They deal with both parents fairly and equally and always put the child’s needs first. Yes you have pay for the service but if it enables you to see your child you can’t put a price on that. Always available for questions and very professional. They put on a virtual app to ensure contact continued throughout the CoVid lockdown which was easy to use. Mainly dealt with Aayisha who was great, can’t thank Aayisha and Sharon enough for their help.

So grateful of the hard work and personable approach shown by all the staff at the centre. You have made a difficult and emotional time a smoother process for us all. I would definitely recommend to all those who are going through the same process.

Amazing service. Two individuals are amazing - Sharon and Aiysha. They have been so helpful it’s phenomenal. I think as fathers we need to take our emotions out of the service offered and be pragmatic and logical. Yes - there are certain items we would like immediately but these employees are under so much pressure we would not believe - so how about we give them a break and look at ourselves. I certainly could not do this job - so my hat goes off to these beautiful, helpful individuals- thank you. Always indebted Shan ( Thanks Aiysha and Sharon -You need a bonus - dealing with emotional fathers).

I would not recommend using this service. This is because in my experience it is very disorganized. I have experienced staff telling me they are setting up contact and then not setting it up. I have also experienced staff arriving up to 20 minutes late for contact sessions. I have also had one member of staff lock me and my daughter out of the contact room during the winter and leaving their keys in the room, meaning my five year old was sat in the cold in just a t-shirt for half an hour.

I recently completed my social work placement with DMR services. It’s been an amazing experience. Such a busy, professional yet supportive atmosphere. I’ve learnt so much and had the opportunity to work with some inspiring individuals who have helped me grow, both personally and professionally.

Not looking forward to my first experience based on these reviews and star rating. I was surprised from the start when I discovered that they only take cash and bank transfers. No card service in 2019, seems odd! I'll be back in a few hours and will see if I can leave the first positive review? A few hrs later..... Having not seen my 2 girls in over a year I arrived. I was politely greeted and shown to a waiting area. The building was clean tidy and warm. I was eventually shown to a good sized clean and tidy room where I nervously awaited my girls. Within minutes they came in and I relieved the cuddles I had fought so hard for. The 2 hour's were a blur and if I'm honest, I wouldn't have cared if the 2 hours had been in a cave. It's not about the place it is about contact. If i was being picky I would have to say that the toys and games were for young children and not 10 and 13 year olds. Plus at a cost of 80 quid for 2 hours the company must be making enough money to lose the woodchip and decorate properly. I saw happy faces and loads of love. You can't put a price on that!!

If you truly care about children’s welfare you would not use this service. 1. Made to wait outside in winter months as staff arrive late. 2. Children go into unheated building during winter months. 3. Witnessed another families child crawling through two week old muddy paw prints (no animals allowed so I must be mistaken the response) i must have been hallucinating when seeing the caretakers Labrador. Caretaker in place following complaint number 2! 4. Used condom wrappers outside the building on several occasions- site fit for children’s services?? I took photos on each occasion with time and date. 5. Reports written then passed on for verification, edited and not read by the original writer so not suitable as evidence. 6. Staff supervision is not by staff with social work qualification. 7. Christmas decorations consisted of two miniature trees, one had two baubles on! 8. Told this weekend they were changing the date of our contact if I can’t do it basically it’s take it or leave it. This isn’t the first time either. I can go on..... I have been told if I keep picking them up on their failings they will refuse me a service. If your a professional looking to use this service in the interest of the child please do your homework. Can you organise a contact session for one hour every other Sunday at the same time. DMR services can’t! In the interest of being fair, there are some nice staff and child centred staff. Unfortunately that cannot be said for all
