Update May 2023. Still love DKUK. Daniel has built the most incredible team. The whole salon team completely buy into his approach. I look forward to my salon visits like never before. Seeing Idi currently, she is incredible. So easy to communicate with and really takes the time to work with you to define what you want. I've always been more than satisfied... Often blown away (pun intended 😋) *********** Love this place. Daniel is amazing, talented and communicates really clearly, which is such an important but often lacking part of a haircut. He sources his products and runs his business sustainably, oh and did I mention he was a genius stylist? The art is gorgeous, not having the watch yourself awkwardly for an hour is so great, and the magic mirror is, indeed, magic. Cannot recommend more highly. I had an absolutely incredible time with this salon today. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to getting haircuts due to sensory issues and general social nerves. That coupled with poor health over the past few months had left my hair in a complete state as I've been unable to get it cut for over 6 months. The whole team were free from judgement, took my awkwardness and anxiety in their stride and made me as comfortable as possible. Daniel gave me an amazing haircut following a detailed consultation and great advice on how to keepy hair healthy and looking good. Definitely returning for both Daniel and hopefully the other stylists too at some point. 💜
