This place desperately needs more visibility! There are so many courses and services they provide and the people are so geniune and bubbly. Classes range from sewing, digital skills, mentoring, ESOL and art. They're always looking for more to add and volunteers to help teach skills as well Well worth popping in and saying hello! ____________________________________ That's what I felt at first, anyway. The woman in charge is passionate, but that translates to her being very heavy handed. I was spoken to very rudely by her today in regard to them overhauling the sewing room, treated like children and accused of using her. Wasn't given a decent chance to speak and just lectured about how she isn't made of money and she should start charging. Go for it, treating people like that she will get NO takers. She treated her voluntary instructor no better, we both left and short of an apology and some changes regarding the owner's involvement, I don't think I will be returning. I feel incredibly sorry for the rest of the staff there.
