Amazing PADI diving centre with excellent instructors. From the moment I booked the course, all the instructions and communication was very clear from Roger. I had my sessions in the pool with Jonathan and had to do extra sessions to finish off my course. He was very clear, patient and reassuring and I am very pleased I managed to finish the course, having initially thought I wouldn’t be able to do it! Definitely recommend this diving centre for anyone looking to start scuba diving or refresher sessions.

My girlfriend and I did the pool sessions at Dive Wimbledon as part of our Open Water Referral and we really enjoyed the training. Our instructor Johnathan was excellent, very professional and re-assuring. We also returned for a private lesson with him after the course to practice our skills. Everything was great and we highly recommend Dive Wimbledon for the Open Water Completion.

My husband and I took a dry suit training with them, it was a disaster. You can't call the suit "dry" when we realised we were walking fish tank. The dry suits they provided were anything but dry, let alone the technical use of the suit. We are now certifed dry suit divers but we are as experienced in dry suit diving as prior to the training. There is a possibility that it's been changed, however our experience was not great and it was certainly a waste of money.

My journey started with a phone call to dive Wimbledon, where I spoke to the owner Roger. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone getting all the information I needed... After a great conversation with Roger, I decided to book straight away! The first two dives “Saturday/Sunday” were at the pool in Putney leisure center. Putney leisure center was easy to get to “just off the A3” and parking was free with lots of room! At the pool, I met PADI instructor Richard and Divemaster Harry. Richard was very welcoming and a great instructor! Richard gave me clear instructions and I felt at ease in the pool with him, even though I was nervous to start with! Divemaster Harry also gave me some great pointers and little tricks that I used in my last four lake dives. All in all my pool experience was great! Thank you guys! Open water dives at the lake, the following week. “Saturday/Sunday four dives”... An email was sent around four days before explaining the plan on the days with easy directions to the lake. The drive to the lake was pleasant as there wasn’t a lot of traffic, I presume it was because it was the weekend. The lake was just off the M25, driving into the lake I had to pay £15 each day to dive. This was explained to me by Roger and also in the email, so I was well aware! On the first day, I was greeted by PADI instructor Phil and divemaster Fran, “ legends“. Phil was clear on his instructions and made me feel relaxed in the water! Between Phil and Fran, any nerves I had were quickly washed away! It was very professional and I felt in great hands with them both! I had such an unbelievable experience at the lake with you all! I wouldn’t be able to explain as you would be reading a full book. But let’s just say this experience made my year! Great laughs and friends for life! To Dive Wimbledon, all the staff, instructors, and divemasters. I honestly can’t thank you all enough! I’ve had such an amazing experience! I will forever cherish the memories I’ve made! Good points: Good communication. Reasonable price. Amazing staff. Easy to get to swimming pool/free easy parking. Beautiful clean lake with great underwater scenery. Bad points: “None with Dive Wimbledon“ Extremely rare train cancellations. PADI changing physical cards to e-cards via an app. EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED DIVE SCHOOL! BOOK BOOK BOOK! THANK YOU DIVE WIMBLEDON!

Yesterday me and my son did a practice dive at Putney Leasure Centre with Dive Wimbledon. Richard and Phil were very helpful. That evening was pretty much fully 📖 for PADI courses, as usual, hence many thanks to Roger, the boss :) a wonderful person who made it possible for us at the last minute.
