Open Water PADI 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 Heartfelt thanks to everyone. I feel so lucky to have been with people who believed in me (especially when I didn't!😩) and wanted my success as much as I did - fellow divers as well as staff. You have shown patience, understanding, kindness and encouragement 'above and beyond,' from my first tentative venture into the pool to this very special open water weekend. This was my post on Face Book, when I returned from my first open water dive experience, today. I feel elated and have to share with anyone interested in giving this fabulous activity a try. I wholeheartedly recommend Steve and his team. Their safety/risk assessment and awareness of surroundings both in an out of the water is complete and ongoing. They are so enthusiastic and encouraging, yet understanding of this 60 year old Grannie's apprehension and resultant daft mistakes. From making sure I was equipped with suitable kit through patient reassurance, encouragement and positive teaching/training strategies, to showing genuine pleasure in my success, they've made my PADI qualification attainable and fun. I can neither recommend nor thank them enough. Go on - give it a go! You won't regret it.

I telephoned this company on Monday to place an order. I was told that the items weren't in stock and would have to be ordered direct from the supplier. I was given a rough estimate of about a week and placed my order and paid with my debit card. Today is Wednesday and I was amazed to see the items arrived at 11am. This is the fastest order I have ever received. Thank you so much to Sunderland Scuba. I will recommend you to all my dive buddies.

Very disappointed at how they out cast you as a diver if you're not part of there clicks, I joined and things were great while I was spending money on equipment soon changed as I bought all i needed to. I joined the padi logo for the team and flexibly to meet new people but thats not the case in this center, such a shame.

Needed to get a Hollis HD200 BCD at short notice after being let down by my usual supplier (claiming they had one in stock online, took my money, then sent me email saying 4 weeks. Then saying they’d ‘try’ to improve on it but not bothering it seemed, so I lost three weeks in all) I Contacted Sunderland Scuba Centre. Andy was open from the start. He would have to order one in but he felt confident he could get it to me within a week in time for my trip. True to his word I received my Hollis with a day to spare. Great customer service, kept fully informed and very competitive pricing. No hesitation in recommending SSC, I’ll certainly be back.
