Been unwell allday with food poisoning had a bacon and egg roll can't stop the chronic pain in my belly and eggy burps. Advice stop pre cooking bacon and sausages and leaving the eggs out in the hot environment. Poor food hygiene

We've had breakfast and now lunch at the Divan Café twice and so far it's been all good. The food and drinks are obviously the most important, they have been enjoyable, flavoursome, and of good quality, the service is efficient and friendly and cleanliness is of an acceptable standard. We live in a world of ever increasing prices, so bearing this in mind the meals are of a reasonable cost. We will be eating there again. Just revisited on 10/09/2022 food drink service continues as good as before, yes prices have increased but not excessively, still good value, will continue to eat ther when possible

First visit to the Divan, under recommendation from a good friend. We'd both settled on cod and for the price I wasn't expecting the massive piece of freshly fried cod I received and thoroughly enjoyed. Also had enough room for their delicious sticky toffee pudding and custard. Well worth the visit, I will be returning soon to sample some more of their varied menu. Highly recommend the Divan Café tucked away at the end of the brewery Market. 👍 Update had the set #2 breakfast with extra bubble, it was delicious! 😉

Staff and cafe are nice just a shame the food is not. B+b was stil warm from the microwave defrost function and the chips tasted of a thousand things apart from potato as the oil was dirty. U could taste it. Whilst ordering another customer said roast was cold in the middle. Never again avoid. Basics
