My boys have been going to Tigers for over 18 months and I can honestly say it's fantastic. Gary, the lead instructor is great. He's got the perfect balance of authority and fun and he knows how to keep a room focused. His assistant, Ma'am, is also fantastic as are the other instructors. My boys have been learning lots of life skills as well as self defence. There have been brilliant themes on Stranger Danger, Fitness, Health and Emergency Services with the recovery position. Where else would a 5 and 7 year old learn about that? It's been great, especially as they have elderly grandparents, they both have skills that can save lives. I was concerned about them 'fighting' in lessons and that emerging in school. I needn't have worried. The Tigers don't fight, they learn moves and the instructors are great at teaching when it's appropriate and importantly when it's not!
