This is an great place to visit with good facilities, accessible paths and it feels far from the built up environments nearby. We used the boat hire for kayaks, which was excellent with friendly staff, good equipment and a good size of lake to explore. The online booking system was a little complex, but the team on the day made sure everything went smoothly. Lockers are available, along with changing rooms at the centre.

Lovely event. The Glow Walk. Brilliantly organised. Parking for Dinton is very expensive though.

My review would be much higher if it were not for the greed of Wokingham Borough Council. My wife and I met in the in-laws for a coffee. After a cursory look at the signs, I didn't notice a tariff for the carpark, and opted for the Check in/out payment method. We had a nice time, but when we left, I ended up with a bitter taste in my mouth ... £5.10 for 2hrs .. and 6 minutes. Seriously??? This is a recreational carpark, not a rip-off central shopping carpark ... oh, it is. Huge shame as the coffee was very good (large a bit too large, but the price difference just makes the other sizes expensive). Also went for a sausage sandwich and a pastry (very basic sausage, but still a naughty treat). I spent over £20, and expect the in-laws similar, so >£5 parking is completely out of order (in-laws paid for 2hrs, not sure how much). Won't be coming back unless we can park elsewhere.
