A lovely little local shop. The chap in there seems to really know his stuff, and a nice little range of varying stringed instruments, and not over the top on cost. I’ve been in several times now, and without the pressure of buying anything extra, I always see something else that I wish to purchase. The chap in the shop assisted me with restring one of my guitars, and charged so little for doing so, I left feeling a touch guilty. He charged me £20 total for the strings and the time to fit them and tune them. Even giving me the correct advice to make sure I returned when I got home, as new strings ever hold their tuning for too long. I’d stretched them out several times now, and they hold tune perfectly. This is a little gem of a shop, and it is worth hearing the guy in there play as well, an absolute talent. They even gives lessons at such a reasonable cost as well. 30 minute lessons for £15, I think. That would need to be verified with him. 30 minutes is about the right length of time for a lesson, as it doesn’t overwhelm you with the amount of instruction to follow.
