We had previously received a great service by Roger when having some jewellery made a few years ago. However, I visited the shop today with some sentimental gold to request a valuation. We walked into the shop and straight away I felt anxious and I should have left, the front door was left open and it was just too busy. I spoke to a lady who preceded to look at my gold in a open store, just leaving it on the counter. The gold was sentimental and she didn’t show any empathy at all. I was anxious that anyone could easily swipe my gold off the really open counter. I received the price, from walking in the shop I knew this wasn’t the place to sell it. I just wanted to get out of the shop. Roger is really friendly, the other staff need to learn some professionalism. There should be room or area where customers feel comfortable. Sorry to write this after such a good experience previously.

Visiting the area from North America about a month ago. I needed a valuation on some jewelry. The experience was excellent and I can 100% recommend this shop. The man who helped me was a gentleman in the true sense of the word. There was no charge for the 45 minutes he spent cleaning the items and giving me a verbal valuation, which was what I needed. I since obtained a written valuation elsewhere in line with what the store in Didsbury gave me. This seems a very honest and trustworthy place, based upon my experience.

I went in todsy to get a necklace, I never really go into jewellers but it looked good on the outside! The lovely lady helped me take on and off my necklace and I bought a lovely piece of silver and I love it! Thankyou for the lovely experience!

Took back a bracelet that was faulty only had it for 5 days cost 300 pounds refused a refund lady was agressive in the shop offered me a credit note and told me they don't do refunds after explaining her obligation under various consumer rights she reluctantly agreed to give me a refund. Awful experience avoid this shop.
