The bast course in Manchester and the greenskeepers do an excellent job. The clubhouse also has great bar staff and the pro shop are excellent people and welcome you every time. But finally... James Curtis is an excellent pro, he always custom fits and coaches to a very very high standard. 👏 😀

An enjoyable round of golf and never overly crowded. Teed off at 2pm and nobody followed us so me and wife had a great 3hours. Although not too many golfers were around the wildlife was just as entertaining. The route to the course is also as entertaining. It follows the line of the canal but needs resurfacing as the undulating road is part single, part double lane which you cannot speed down as unexpected cars appear around each sharp corner. The bar is ok but as I have designed many golf clubs in my time it could do with a good redesign to take advantage of the great surrounding landscape and aspects over the greens that surround the the club. There are the usual training rooms with in-house golf pro teachers for the young golfers wanting to learn the skills we older golfers would have wanted to have access to when we first started to learn the sport/pastime.
