My daughter had never had any basketball experience, until her PE teacher introduced the sport at school in a lesson aged 10 and she LOVED IT! We researched local clubs that had a girls squad and Yateley Silverbacks was our closest team, and many other local families recommended it to us. She came along and loved the session. She joined the girls team in the National League season 22/23 and now has a real thirst for learning more. She picked up the rules and many skills through the training sessions and says the coaching staff were what made it really enjoyable. My son has previously jumped from sport to sport. I wasn't sure if we would find one that stuck until I encouraged him with basketball and started sending him to Diddy Dunkers. These weekly sessions have made him fall in love with basketball. Its his favourite thing to do each week, a good balance of just easing kids in, having fun and getting used to playing seriously. It has really built up my sons confidence and love for the sport. Whether your kid is new to basketball or a confident player I highly recommend DD.
