I contacted Diana after getting addicted to Your Garden Made Perfect during lock down. As we only had a very small (10m x 5m) garden, I wasn't sure how much potential there was for turning it into a usable space that felt like an extra room, but Diana has worked miracles. In what used to feel like a tiny, sparce area, we now have two seating areas, trees, climbing plants, flowers, lighting that makes the space usable at night as well as during the day and a power source for music, laptop etc. As a result, we now use our garden at every possible opportunity and even when the weather isn't good enough to sit out, we often sit indoors looking out. The garden is now frequented by lots of birds and in summer it was full of bees and butterflies. Diana understood exactly what we wanted from the garden and produced an amazing design that hit every element of the brief. The contractors that Diana brought in to do the landscaping were absolutely first rate and the work was completed on schedule and to an exceptionally high standard. We could not be happier!!! We had a really enjoyable and positive experience with Diana Marklew Garden Design from start to finish and would highly recommend using this business if you want a bespoke, professional and knowledgeable service. Diana is a very personable and attentive designer and she quickly grasped our thoughts and ideas about what we wanted from our garden. Her understanding of the overall brief was excellent and she developed the concept into a workable plan. Whilst we went over our original budget, Diana was considerate to our threshold and offered alternative ideas to meet cost. She uses very reputable landscapers and ours were brilliant- reliable, considerate and professional. We absolutely love the finished product that are now our front and rear gardens; we are getting immense pleasure and therapy from seeing it grow and become established. We are excited for Spring seeing the second year of our garden come into bloom! We have had such lovely compliments from friends who have enjoyed time in our garden with us. It’s been worth every penny spent as it’s given us a fabulous outdoor extension of our home.
