The new unit is expected to open in Spring 2019 and construction is being run in partnership between kidney dialysis specialist providers Diaverum and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust. The unit will have 20 dialysis stations (5 more than in the Forest Hill satellite unit it will be replacing) and include 2 side rooms for inpatients from University Hospital Lewisham who would formerly have to be transferred to Guy's Hospital.
