Renewal price came in more expensive for the same details as previous year and the year before that. All that's changed is I got another years NC, and I'm being charged more because of that? For being less of a liability on the road... how does that work? Called up and they said they wouldnt even drop the price, due to the computer telling them a random number they fancy charging me this year. Not cool Dial Direct. First quote I found when I looked nearly £30 a month cheaper with more cover. Bye bye DD.

I was shopping for car insurance from roughly about a month ago on comparison sites. Whilst looking around I found a good price from Dial Direct on the 25th of April . I called them up to save this quote where I was given a reference for the policy and 30 days before it expired (25th May 2023). It is now the 19th of May and I have called them up to make payment for my quote. However, the advisor on the phone was quick to tell me that this quote does not exist and that my reference Is wrong. When clearly I showed the quote being saved on the comparison site and still being available there ! She told me that I did not speak to them on the 25th and that I only tried for the first time today (19th May 2023) This was completely untrue again. She then told me that not only could they not find my quote, they could no longer provide insurance for my car. I was left to find a new insurance policy very close to my current one expiring, therefore increased cost and stress. Overall, I would not recommend this insurance company. This level of poor service was very unprofessional and shouldn't be happening.

My 2nd year with Dial direct, they gave a reasonable and competitive insurance price with the added benefit of RAC cover. Each agent I've spoke to have been helpful, informative, courteous and friendly. I would recommend them to family, friends etc
