This is the best ice cream parlour in the country. No exaggeration. I used to live this in Hastings, but visit the town about once a year. An ice cream in Di Polas is an essential visit for the family. The flavours change a bit, but I’ll always take the Pistachio if it’s on. The boy loves the strawberry, the girl loves mango sorbet. But honeycomb, cherry and chocolate are also flawless.

Friendly service, lovely ladies serving. Pistachio is ALWAYS out of stock when I visit sadly. Ice cream made in house which is both rare and also a treat as you can see the machines when you walk in. Accept both card and cash payments. Extras (candy) are overpriced in my opinion.

The best!! And I’ve been to Italy! I’ve lived in the area for over 10years and it’s my to go to for I’ve cream. Sea salt caramel is a must try! Check timings during off season as they are family run and understandably cannot be open as late when it’s quiet.
