    A completely untrustworthy company that have dragged us along and is no longer responding to us. Despite still taking our payments. I’m now considering legal action. We purchased a sofa and a footstool from them. The sofa - no issues. The footstool was delivered damaged on the 9th November 2021. The delivery driver took a picture and assured us a new one would be sent to us. On the 18th November 2021 we emailed customer services with the picture as we had had no feedback. By the 8th February 2022 we were finally delivered a replacement. On arrival, it was damaged. The delivery driver took a picture and said a replacement or refund will be organised. We trusted them and left them to it. By August 2022 we were really frustrated, we have busy lives with extremely busy jobs that inclues working away a lot, couple with two young children we had tried to be patient but by now were tired of waiting. We contacted customer services with the evidence of the damage, which was in a similar place to the original footstool. Our view is there must be a fault in this design! It wasn’t until we followed up again in January 2023 to explain how terrible this service was that we got a response back to explain it had been passed to the branch manager. The branch manager tried to call a few days later and my partner was working away and wasn’t able to get back to them. I’ve since decided to start following this up in May with calls and emails, assuring this would be picked up. After speaking with the branch manager (colne) last friday she initially refused to do anything about this and then changed her mind and said she would follow up with her management as a 'gesture' - this left me gobsmacked, why it's a gesture to resolve over 18 months of despicable service and behaviour. I was due a call back on Tuesday (23rd May) this week and nothing, they’ve gone completely quiet again. I’m tired of this, and this shoddy furniture and service they have provided. It’s an untrustworthy company and should be avoided at all costs.

    Please please get your couch from somewhere else….. Ordered 7th jan, 12 week wait ( no problem,we expected this) Emailed to say it was due into the warehouse, then a few days later told it was delayed a month… then finally get a delivery date, wrong sofa delivered, however urged to accept it and told it was better than nothing, total disregard for the other customers that this sofa actually belonged too. Now a week on and they still can’t find my sofa… but insist it’s in the warehouse…. How you loose a huge corner sofa for a week is beyond me. I have now demanded a full refund, and shock horror the phone calls from staff have turned to emails, well one email. Each person I speak to escalate it to someone else and beg me for another 72 hours each time… meanwhile we have nothing to sit on and just shy if 4K down

    If you are looking for a sofa, then they have plenty on show to try, the staff are helpful if and when you need it, not pushy.

    Having given 5 stars for the purchase of a sofa I now find that I must retract it, ordered on the 02-01 this year and the wait for delivery was 12 weeks set for the 28-03 however the day before I received a call to say my sofa had been misplaced in the warehouse and would take 24 to 48 hours to find. Eventually it was and things were back on track for delivery on Sunday 02 of April between 14-32 and 17-32. At 17-20 I received a call to say my sofa won't be coming today as it's been stuck in traffic and other issues and would be called in the morning but no we had to call them. The customer support person that we managed to get to speak to was the most unpleasant person as he had no customer sympathy at all and his manner was very rude and sharp I won't name him but it started with a M. I can't speak to anyone else only email which can take 72 hours for a response, when I need to purchase anything else I'm afraid its not going to be from DFS
