I had a good experience with Kamara, moving a two up two down about 50 miles. The house was emptied in less than an hour, stuff wrapped well with blankets for transit, none of my possessions were damaged in transit. Good communication in advance, ensuring he was clear on precisely what the job entailed. The quote ended up being nearly half the cost of the next option I had lined up. No complaints here about the moving experience.

Unreliable service. Kamala seems like a lovely man, we organised the move for today in the afternoon but he cancelled this morning due to 'mechanical problems with the van'. I booked the van one month in advance with Kamara and agreed the price and I clearly mentioned about the items. On the moving day he didn’t show up and didn’t answer his phone despite of several confirmations and reminders few days in advance. A guy called after 3 hours and said Kamara is outside of the country and Kamara has asked him instead to do the job. The replacement guys were absolutely useless, weren’t helping and they concluded that sofas can’t be taken out and needs to be left behind!!! They damaged the walls and door frames, can’t express how disappointing their service was! Guess what?! When they put everything in the Van the guy asked for higher amount. Avoid this company!!!!
