After being messed around, getting told to get off the train at the wrong stop. We were left clueless as to how we would get to our concert in Manchester, in the evening. We went to the desk with desperate need and the lady who we think was named Donna. Helped us get on another train assuring us that we would keep are first class tickets. We greatly appreciated what she did.

A great old station, but unfortunately some key parts haven't been updated. It is in need of a deep clean because it is filthy. Some staff can be surley, and others lovely. It's up a very steep hill from the bus station which can be difficult for people with accessibility needs though this isn't the fault of the station. The seats are far too narrow and uncomfortable if you have a fuller figure, they're clearly designed for smaller persons.

Toilet was locked was told to use pub toilet which I could not find so held it until I got home after ages, after holding it before that basically don't know where the toilets are in Dewsbury and did not want to use the toilet in the train. Cute train station by the way.
