Extremely disappointing. Cannot get through to even get an appointment. After being added to the telephone queue, I was told to leave a message. I did. They didn’t call me back. The next working day, I called again and again, can’t even speak to someone. Previous experience has taught me that the call back service does not work either. It’s a real shame.

Myself & my two children have always received such excellent care when visiting the surgery, especially my youngest when after a terrible a&e experience the clinician at the surgery I spoke to & she saw went absolutely above and beyond for her, of all the times I've called at 8am to make an appointment there has only been one occasion when I haven't been able to but all other times speaking with a member of the clinical team has been easily done. Even better as well now there is the choice of face to face or telephone appointments.

Just spent 1.10mins on the phone trying to get through on behalf of my granddaughter. I drove down there while still on the phone and took photos of staff 'pottering around' putting pictures on a notice board and having cups of tea while they ignored the phones and people queuing on the lines. In a climate where we have been encouraged not to come down in person and doctors are refusing in person appointments people's life's depend on being able to get through on the phone. There is no excuse for such blatant disregard for the public these people are supposed to care for. A vital lifeline that is let's rally killing people. This is a disgrace and all at this surgery should be ashamed of the lack of care offered. Edit: 1st April 2023 Following your comments Julie I will say I was third in the queue and over 1 hour moved to 1 and then was not answered. Hence my coming to the surgery or see what was going on. The South Darenth Facebook group is full of complaints exactly like mine. This is not an isolated incident and your defence is untrue. I didn't take pictures of any patients only your staff which along with my call logs and recordings will be sent to the CQC and the GMC. You cannot have the same complaint over and over and not address the internal issue. Patients are suffering. Many gravely. I added this as an edited as there is no other way for me to respond to your comments

the worst surgery, none of the receptionists care for a single patient all they do is gossip whilst ignoring everyone ringing up to try and get an appointment, even in person they’ll sit and talk and leave you waiting for 15 minutes. a joke of a place also couldn’t even walk a minute over the road to see my nan when she was bed bound, the whole place needs new staff who actually do their jobs correctly.
